Energy Design Corp. is a wholesale distributor exclusively of geothermal/watersource HVAC equipment, pump packages and flow centers, piping and accessories, replacement parts, as well as hydronic piping and accessories. We service the entire Emerald Coast area, as well as Northeast and Central Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. Our founder and president, David Phillips started this company in 1999 as Geo-Energy and changed this company to Energy Design Corp. in 2002. Energy Design Corp. is dedicated to delivering both quality brand products and dependable, friendly service.
David has been involved in the HVAC trade for 35 years and specifically with geothermal/watersource systems for 30 years. He started as a geothermal service technician for a company in Troy, NY and was promoted to Service Manager and then Project Coordinator/Training Manager. He became a certified trainer for the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) and also for some of the HDPE pipe manufacturers. David’s experience as a trainer led him to become a Geothermal Business Development Manager. There he assisted HVAC contractors with geothermal system loop design/sizing and system installation. He then took a position as Product Development Manager with Addison Products Company in Orlando, FL. This position involved unit design/development, product application, forecasting, marketing and training of Addison Distributors and HVAC contractors. David has been a champion of geothermal technology for its benefits to both consumers and to the environment.
